 About Michael Kraft, MD

Dr. Kraft is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who joined Family Practice Center in 2023. An Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor for multiple years, Dr. Kraft specializes in performing a variety of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine services. He graduated from Ross University before completing his family medicine residency at Drexel University, and fellowship in Sports Medicine at Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Kraft served in the Air Force reserves as a flight surgeon from 2011 to 2020, where he was a part of the 920th combat rescue unit and was stationed at Langley Air Force Base. As a sports physician, he has had a multitude of experience in sports medicine with college and professional-level sports teams, most recently serving as a team physician for Kennesaw State University. He continues to work on educating the next generation of physicians by serving as an assistant professor of family medicine at Emory University. Outside of the office Dr. Kraft loves spending time with his two boys, Christian and Vaughn, and his wife, Jackie.
