Family Practice Center is seeking a Medical Scribe to support our physicians during patient encounters. This role is essential to documentation accuracy and physician efficiency at one of Atlanta’s highest-rated primary care practices.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

Accompany physicians during patient encounters to document medical records in real time
Record patient history, physical exam findings, and encounter-related documentation
Enter physician orders for labs, imaging, and procedures
Document diagnoses, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions
Perform clerical support tasks and maintain HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

6+ months prior medical scribe experience required
Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
High school diploma minimum
60+ words per minute typing ability
Computer proficiency; Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong active listening and communication skills
