Maintenance Medications
Maintenance medications are approved for refill if you have had an office visit within the last 3 months. This ensures our providers stay informed about your ongoing treatment and overall health status.
Supply Limits
Standard refills are approved for a 30-day supply. If your medication is approaching its refill date and your next appointment is coming soon, we can accommodate a shorter supply to ensure continuity of care without excessive dispensing.
Controlled & Specialty Medications
Medications for ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, and sleep disorders require mandatory office visits every 3 months. These specialized medications require regular clinical supervision to ensure effectiveness and to monitor for side effects or complications.
Processing Timeline
Medication refill requests are processed within 2 business days from the time your request is received. If you submit a request on Friday, you can expect processing by the following Tuesday. For urgent refills, contact our office directly by phone at 404.256.1727.
