Medication Policy
At Family Practice Center, our goal is to provide safe, timely, and high-quality medical care for all patients. To ensure medications are prescribed appropriately and monitored safely, we ask patients to review the following refill policy.
Policy
Medication Refills & Appointments
- Prescription medications are provided during scheduled office visits or telemedicine visits only.
- Providers will prescribe medication through your next recommended follow-up appointment.
- Patients are responsible for scheduling appointments before their medication runs out.
- If your medication supply is low, please contact our office in advance to arrange an appointment.
Refill Requests
- Medication refills will not be processed over the phone or through MyChart messages without an appointment.
- Emergency refill requests may be considered on a limited basis at the provider’s discretion.
- A $50 administrative fee will be charged for emergency refill requests.
Policy
Telemedicine Appointments
For your convenience, telemedicine appointments are available Monday through Friday and are often available on short notice.
- Telemedicine visits are billed through your insurance the same as a standard office visit.
- Applicable copays, coinsurance, or deductibles will apply based on your insurance plan.
