It’s hard to believe that 2021 is almost completely over. It’s been a fantastic, eventful year for all of us here at Family Practice Center. While we’re not through with COVID-19 precautions yet, it has been incredibly rewarding to see so many of our patients back in our office this year as things have begun to get back to normal. Before the calendars turn to 2022, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things from the last year that our family healthcare providers and medical team were most proud of.
Perhaps the most important development for our practice over the last year was the announcement and launch of our newest locations in Canton and Cumming. The prospect of bringing our top-rated medical care to even more of Georgia is such an exciting proposition. In addition to these newest locations, Family Practice Center will continue to grow in the year and we would advise all of our patients to keep an eye out for even more big announcements in 2022!
Continuing our run as Georgia’s highest-rated primary care practice, we were incredibly honored to have our providers be awarded as Top Doctors in Georgia for 2021 by USA Top Docs. Additionally, Dr. C. Steven Schramm and Dr. Tyler Wheeler were also awarded as Top Doctors in Atlanta by Castle Connolly and Atlanta Magazine. These recognitions mean so much to our practice and we want to once again thank everyone who helped make them possible.
We were also incredibly fortunate to be able to make some strong additions to our medical team over the last year. We recently added several outstanding new providers to our practice. This includes Dr. Justin Kappel, and physician assistant Mitchell Pearce. It means so much to be able to add such talented, experienced healthcare providers to our practice and look forward to everything that they will be able to bring to our patients in the years ahead. Additionally, we plan to add even more new providers to our team in 2022.
We also expanded our medical care in some unique and interesting ways to better serve the needs of our patients. For instance, we began offering drive-thru COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 vaccinations at our office in Sandy Springs. We were very happy to begin performing Botox® Cosmetic Injections to assist our patients with their cosmetic needs as well. Additionally, Dr. Justin Kappel brought his knowledge of integrative medicine including acupuncture and other techniques to our Sandy Springs location. We remain adamant about doing everything we can to provide comprehensive wellness services and more to our patients.
Before we officially close the book on 2021, we wanted to take some time to thank all of our loyal and supportive patients and remind them that we will continue to be there for your healthcare needs.
