Being able to offer the best when it comes to family wellness services is hugely important to us here at Family Practice Center. This means providing excellent care for a wide variety of healthcare services and areas, but also minding all the small details that help make a visit to the doctor’s office something that our patients don’t have to dread. This commitment to excellence every day has helped set us apart from many other family medicine practices in the Southeast. Another fact that further illustrates our commitment to excellence is our announcement that several of our family medicine physicians have been selected as Top Doctors in Atlanta for 2025 by Castle Connolly (Modern Luxury Publications) and Atlanta Magazine.
To begin, we thought it would be instructive to explain the differences between the two different Top Doctors designations in Atlanta that our physicians received. Dr. Jim Wheeler, Dr. C. Steven Schramm, and Dr. Tyler Wheeler were recognized as Top Doctors by Castle Connolly, a nationwide organization that has been helping to direct patients to America’s highest-quality healthcare professionals for over 30 years. They allow doctors in each respective city to nominate deserving peers based on factors including experience, reputation with patients, industry standing, and academic medical research. This particular Top Doctor honor is announced on the Castle Connolly website, as well as in a couple of the Modern Luxury Publications.
Additionally, Dr. Jim Wheeler, Dr. C. Steven Schramm, Dr. Tyler Wheeler, and Dr. Leah Macklin were selected Top Doctors for 2025 by the voting committee at Atlanta Magazine. Each year, Atlanta Magazine partners with Professional Research Services (PRS) to select the most noteworthy physicians in the metro Atlanta area. PRS uses their proprietary peer-reviewed surveys to locate the highest level professionals within (but not limited to) the medical field within a specific geographic area. All Atlanta-area licensed physicians are eligible for nomination and final voting is conducted by Atlanta-area physicians.
These kinds of honors mean so much to our practice, and we could not be more grateful to our fantastic friends and colleagues in the Atlanta area who helped make them possible. Top Doctor status is just another thing that our patients can look to and know that they will be in safe and trusted hands when they visit our office.
