Ayesha Niazy is a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine Physician who joined Family Practice Center in 2023. She serves as a Diplomate with the American Board of Obesity Medicine and has also been awarded Top Doctor 2026 for Obesity medicine by the Atlanta magazine. Dr. Niazy earned her medical degree from Ziauddin University in Karachi, Pakistan.
She then went on to conduct clinical research for over five years at Brown University in Rhode Island, as well as the Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Her research has been published in multiple research publications. Dr. Niazy completed her medical residency at Montgomery Family Medicine residency program, in Alabama.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine & the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Additionally, she is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Niazy specializes in preventive care, treatment of obesity, and lifestyle medicine, as well as women’s health.
She speaks Urdu, Hindi, and English. Dr Niazy believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and also considers the health and wellbeing of her patients as her top priorities.
