Lisa Culpepper is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who re-joined Family Practice Center in November 2024. She originally joined our practice in 2007, but took a leave to stay at with her sons after they were born. Born and raised in Germantown, Tennessee, Lisa attended Vanderbilt University where she earned both her nursing degree and her master’s in nursing.
She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Lisa loves all aspects of family medicine and has wanted to have a career in medicine since she could remember. One of her first jobs was working at the local family physician’s office in her town. She loves having the opportunity to develop personal relationships with patients and their families. When she’s not treating patients, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She loves traveling, camping, biking, hiking, running and outdoor activities.

Yes. Primary care visits can help you stay current with annual exams, preventive screenings, medication review, and changes in your health over time.
Patients often schedule visits during the year for illness care, chronic condition follow-up, treatment questions, and other routine health concerns.
A visit can be used to review prescriptions, discuss possible adjustments, and make sure the treatment plan still fits the patient’s current health needs.
Primary care can help you evaluate what you are experiencing, understand what may need closer attention, and decide on the right next step.
