Missy joined Family Practice Center in 1988. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and began her nursing career as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Northside Hospital. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Emory University.
Throughout her career, Missy has had the privilege of caring for patients and their families through every stage of life. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work has been building lasting relationships across generations. Over the years, she has cared for as many as four generations within the same family, reflecting the continuity and trust at the heart of family medicine.
Missy has enjoyed mentoring future nurse practitioners and serves as a clinical preceptor for students from several universities, including Emory University, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Alabama. She holds clinical privileges at Northside Hospital and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Missy sees patients in the Sandy Springs office.
