Welcome back to the newest installment of our Family Medicine Provider of the Month blog series. We use these posts to help shine a light on the fantastic healthcare professionals here at Family Practice Center, and all the hard work they do for our patients and our practice. It’s important to us that our patients don’t only receive the best possible family medicine services when they come to visit our office, but feel like they are being helped and treated by people they know and can really trust. Which is why we are so excited to present our provider of the month for March, Dr. Ayesha Niazy.
Dr. Ayesha Niazy is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who has been with Family Practice Center since 2023. After earning her medical degree from Ziauddin University in Karachi, Pakistan, she went on to conduct clinical research for over five years at Brown University in Rhode Island, as well as the Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Dr. Niazy completed her medical residency at Montgomery Family Medicine residency program, in Alabama.
Dr. Niazy is a very accomplished physician, whose research has been published in multiple leading publications over the years. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Niazy serves as a Diplomate with the American Board of Obesity Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Although her background in medicine is diverse, Dr. Niazy specializes in preventive care, women’s health, and lifestyle medicine (including the treatment of obesity).
