She has been working as a Registered Nurse since 2018 and has considerable experience in many different areas of medicine including internal medicine, preventative medicine, and GI. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Clemson University before earning her Master’s in Nursing from Kennesaw State University, where she graduated with honors.

She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals through evidence-based lifestyle changes, including exercise, nutrition, and mental health management. One of her favorite aspects of family medicine is caring for multiple generations of a family and building lasting connections over time. She enjoys supporting patients through life's many transitions—from leaving for college and starting careers to getting married, growing their families, and navigating the changes that come with each stage of life.
When she’s not treating patients, Alaina loves staying active, going on walks with her doodle and parents, and playing pickleball with her husband.
