About C. Steven Schramm, MD

Dr. Schramm joined the Family Practice Center in 1987 and became a partner in 1992. Dr. Schramm graduated from Harvard College and then earned his medical degree from Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Schramm completed a Family Practice Residency at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is the former Chief of Northside Hospital’s Family Practice Department. Dr. Schramm has consulted for JMJ Technologies and compiled its first Family Database for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR). In May 2001, Dr. Schramm was nominated for the physicians category for the Georgia Health Care Heroes Awards. Dr. Schramm was selected as a Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine & Castle Connolly in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. When Dr. Schramm is not working, he enjoys golf and swimming. In his youth, he was a NCAA semi-finalist springboard diver who was nationally ranked. He is also a trained classical pianist.
